Greenpeace put Climate change on their priority list for 2009

In December this year in Copenhagen an international gathering to create a new climate change agreement will substitute the Kyoto Protocol and this meeting will define the future of our planet. “2009 is the key in the fight against climate change. If the world leaders cannot come to an agreement that is ambitious and effective we are seriously compromising our future,” said Juan Lopez de Uralde, director of Greenpeace. They are urging Zapatero to abandon his passive stance and adopt a more proactive position on the environment.
