Premananda: Paths to awakening

The healing power of our life force, known as ‘chi’ or ‘Prana’, is starting to become better understood in the west and scientific analysis is proving what has been known in the East for centuries. Pranic healing is an ancient science and art of healing that utilizes life energy to heal the whole physical body. Sabia Rathour, an experienced therapist based in Benalmadena, recently travelled to Bangalore, India to meet a modern day Pranic master who has distilled ancient wisdom for the 21st Century. Master Choa Kok Sui, known as a “scientist of the soul”, believes that energetic  medicine systems should stand up to scientific scrutiny, and has followed this through with studies by independent researchers showing the effectiveness of Pranic Healing.
Pranic Healing is basically mechanistic in the sense that if a pranic healer follows the instructions taught in the course the predetermined results will follow. Master Sui claims that one does not have to spend many years to learn how to perform paranormal healing, nor need and special inborn healing power. Pranic Healing is based on two laws: the law of self-recovery which states that the body is capable of healing itself at a certain rate and the law of prana or life energy which states that for life to exist, the body must have prana or life energy. Healing can be accelerated by increasing the life energy of the affected part and the entire body, and pranic energy has been shown to accelerate the chemical reactions of the body. Mark Bajerski who has been practicing Pranic Healing from his centre, the Alpha Rooms in Mijas pueblo, explained that in his experience pranic healing can help with a wide range of problems, both emotional and physical. “As a prana practitioner I work inside your aura, cleansing and energizing it, helping to restore the body’s energy balance.”
