Telefonica launches first telecabin for recharging electric cars

In the first week of May Telefonica presented the first tele cabin in Spain which can be used as a recharging point for electric vehicles. The scheme was developed between the operator Cesar Alierta and Endesa to make it easier for users of these kinds of vehicles to recharge the batteries. Recently there was also an agreement reached with Cepsa to develop a network of recharging points for electric and hybrid cars and their petrol stations. The objective is to develop technical solutions that guarantee the commercial viability of electric cars and the recharging process. The recharging points are being developed thanks to the Plan Movele that has been launched to develop the use of electric cars in Spain.
