Feel and enjoy – routes to wisdom: Art, Science, Culture and Spirituality in Nerja
This summer make a date in the diary for a visit to Nerja for the annual festival ForoAcce (Foro Internacional de Arte, Cultura, Ciencia y Espiritualidad), that will be bringing a smorgasbord of conferences, discussions, concerts, workshops and courses to the town during the first week of July.
ForoAcce will turn the cultural centre of Nerja into a meeting point for people from all over Europe of all different backgrounds and interests including artists, scientists, spiritual seekers and musicians. Recognising the multinational nature of Nerja, workshops and talks will be held in English and Spanish to make them as accessible as possible to all visitors. For a whole week from 11am to midnight, there will be a chance to take part in workshops and courses in disciplines as diverse as healing sounds, nutrition, Quantum medicine, Wiccan traditions and much more. All the workshops and courses take part during the day while in the evening the Cultural Centre is transformed into an international concert venue, with music from renowned harpist Arianna Savall, progressive Andaluz rock group Icarus Crash, Jazz from the New Jazz Acoustic Blues and Healing Sounds with Nestor Kornblum and Michele Averard.
Bringing together these four disciplines under one roof organiser Ana Trelles invites everyone interested to use the opportunity to broaden horizons, explore new ideas and enjoy the hospitality of the pretty seaside town of Nerja. “ForoAcce is a contemporary festival that brings together different elements for visitors to enjoy,” Ana explained. “Our main aim is to bring people into contact with their inner self through artistic expression and personal development. Also by respecting the environment we live in we unify internal and external – creating harmony.”
Tickets for the concerts, workshops and courses can be purchased directly from Nerja’s Cultural Centre or through the web site and there are discounts for multiple bookings.
