Ho’oponopono: Hawaiian Healing in Málaga

On February 3 we’ll have the chance to take part in a workshop called “Inner Peace” given by Maria Oses Arcocha. As well as being a Ho’oponopono guide, María is a Philosopher, Ayurvedic Psychotherapist (Bhutavidya) and a Meditation Teacher certified by Dr. Deepak Chopra in Oxford (England), she has also written quite a few books.

Ho’oponopono is an ancient Hawaiian practice of reconciliation and forgiveness. Similar forgiveness practices were performed on islands throughout the South Pacific, including Samoa, Tahiti and New Zealand. Traditionally hoʻoponopono is practiced by healing priests or kahuna lapaʻau among family members of a person who is physically ill. Modern versions are performed within the family by a family elder, or by the individual alone. Through this use of love and forgiveness, one can attain inner peace and harmony as well as improve our relationships with those around us. The technique aims to clean subconscious memories that hinder us such as prejudices and thoughts that cause us discomfort, worry, illness, etc.
