Yogi Tea

This tasty herbal tea will warm you up like no other thanks to the combination of heating spices such as ginger, cinnamon and clove. A few cups of Yogi Tea might help you fight off the beginnings of a cold or keep the shivers under control if you’ve already got the flue. This comforting cuppa helps purify the blood, lungs and keeps your circulation going.
Add milk (cow or nut) to ease the effect of the spices on your stomach and gi tract, this is particularly important if you are of pìtta constitution.

2 litres of water
8 cloves
1 cinnamon stick
4 cardamom pods crushed open
2 teaspoons of grated fresh ginger
Cow or nut milk to taste


Boil water
Add cloves and allow to boil for one minute
Add the cinnamon, cardamon and ginger
Simmer until you have a litre of liquid left
Strain, add milk and honey…prepare to warm up!
