July 29 & 30 2017: Festival Arte Sano

Festival Arte Sano, one of the most popular alternative festivals on the Costa del Sol celebrates their thirteenth edition on the Paseo Maritimo on Playa la Salida in San Pedro Alcántara on July 29 and 30th 2017

Arte Sano is the largest free alternative festival on the Costa del Sol and has established itself as a reference point for natural health, performing and healing arts and personal development. A liberal mix of live music, dance, activities, workshops, classes, halthy food stalls and a dynamic childrens’ area the festival offers something for everyone.

The complete programme of activities throughout the weekend are published on the web site: www.festivalartesano.com. There are plenty of talks and workshops on subjects like natural health, living in community, massage techniques and energy balancing. The dedicated yoga space is always popular with people able to try different styles and discover many of the local yoga schools and what they have to offer.

All the activities and clases and talks are free and visitors can try whatever they like with no obligation. In the market space there are a mix of artesan products, hand made and unique, therapists, natural and organic products, natural cosmetics and the fantastic healthy vegetarian food stalls.
The childrens’ area is a very important part of the event, and is run by ‘La Casa Verde’, a Montesorri project that has been long established in the Coin area, and offers activities throughout the weekend with an eco-holistic them to them.
Once again Arte Sano retirns to celebrate alternative living in Andalucia in all its colourful diversity and the organisers welcome everyone to join us this year.
