Cod Liver Oil is one of the most traditional food supplements, and contains Omega-3 fish oils and vitamins A and D. It is taken to ease the pain and stiffness associated with arthritis. Although not strong enough to cure arthritis, Omega-3s have been proven to help ease symptoms, having a mild anti-inflammatory effect. Omega-3 fish oils also contain the fatty acids that play an essential role in keeping healthy blood circulation, lowering high tryglisirides and contributing to maintaning a healthy brain.
The very process of aging is caused by free radicals oxidising our cells, and inflammation is known as the precursor to diseases such as arthritis, gastritis, dermatitis and even cancer.
