A beginners guide to meditation: your questions answered

I’m sure that if you’re reading this then you’ve probably asked a fair amount of people how they meditate. Did you ever receive a straight answer? The truth is, the reason why people usually come up with “umm…I sit in silence and hmm…breathe” is because…there are just so many different kinds of meditations out there that its hard to say what you “should” be doing.

So to answer the question “how do I begin meditating” I would first ask you: “what do you want to achieve?”

For example, … Continue reading

Shamanic ceremonies in Málaga & Cordoba

An invitation to begin the new year 2014, a period of great transformation and spiritual ascension, by taking part in a special shamanistic ritual.

This ancient ceremony, thousands of years old, is the entrance to the deepest parts of our consciousness. “Grandmother” (“la abuelita”) offers us the way by teaching the wisdom of ancient universal consciousness, awakening the knowledge stored in our DNA since the beginning of mankind.

Her teaching can heal, mend old traumas, release blockages, transform negative behaviour patterns installed in our daily lives, and … Continue reading

Kiesha Crowther (Little Grandmother) – message for the Tribe of Many Colours

Anya Andreva, one of the organisers of last week’s inspiring visit by Little Grandmother, Keisha Crowther, tells us how she has been inspired by Keisha’s simple message.

Kiesha Crowther (aka Little Grandmother as named by the elders) was pretty much my gateway into spirituality, having discovered her inspirational videos back in 2010. Her messages resonated a lot with me and since then I have seen her talk in Wales, at the Galstonbury Prophets conference, and just recently helped organise her workshop in Spain.

Her message is simple … Continue reading

What do I choose now?

On this day of your life, dear friend, I believe God wants you to know …that … “Why is this happening?” is the most useless question in the universe. The only question that really profitable is, “What do I choose now?” This question is power.

The question of “why” simply perplexes, and rarely satisfies even when it gets a good response. So it is not “figure it out”. Just focus on what you want to create now. Keep moving forward.
There’s nothing behind you (your past), you … Continue reading

Love yourself

The following text was written by Charlie Chaplin on his 60th birthday
As I began to love myself I found that anguish and emotional suffering are only warning signs that I was living against my own truth. Today, I know, this is AUTHENTICITY.

As I began to love myself I understood how much it can offend somebody as I try to force my desires on this person, even though I knew the time was not right and the person was not ready for it, and even though … Continue reading

Throw away your negative thoughts, literally

If you write your negative thoughts on paper and then throw them away, they will also disappear from your mind. Conversely, if you write some thoughts down on paper and keep them in your pocket, you’ll be more likely to have them present in your daily life.

All this may seem silly, but it really works. This has been highlighted by a study at Ohio State University with the support of the University of Madrid.

Some types of psychological therapy use variations of this method to try … Continue reading
