in reference to the fiestasol i was disappointed in the lack of coherency in the food menu..... have tins of tomatoes and supermarket eggs (hens fed on transgenics) anything to do with transition and the attempt to start change by example?? there are ecological eggs on sale in coin and a really good ecological veg supply... so i was totally surprised that these scources werent used....

good point - there's always issues like this about any event, my personal issue is with the rubbish we generate even at a small event, and how we could reduce this. However with limited time and resources it can be difficult to pay attention to everything and i think it shows how even committed people can overlook obvious thnigs.

Buena nota - siempre hay cosas de esta tipo, y fue el primer encuentro, personalmente estoy desilusionado con la cantidad de basura aun en evento pequeño. Con tiempo limitado y recursos limitado es dificil a poner atención en todo y algunas vezes olvidamos lo que es lo más obvio.

Ya tenemos el estudio para que cada hogar pueda reducir el consumo de energia y agua en el hogar. Son muchos consejos practicos que haran ahorrar dinero y mas importante huella ecologica.

Hi David, I'm Ana from Coín en Transición and (although some months later cause I have just landed on this site right now), just wanted to let you know that some other people in Transition group pointed out this as an issue and that we will take much more care for the next event we get involved.
The solution could be to provide more support from the "Grupo de Consumo" to avoid the people organizing the event is overloaded.

Yes, it's a question we need to address, to make the next event 100% organic, local and recycled!!
