    Vandana Shiva, winner of the Alternative Nobel Prize, asked the Spanish Government to abandon its support for Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs): “GM is not the solution to hunger. The future of food must bypass the control of multinationals, which act as dictators of what we eat and grow, and seeds must remain in the hands of the people.”
